As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will lead end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll cycles for Spain and other European countries. This role focuses on quality assurance, service engagement, risk management, and leveraging business intelligence to enhance payroll performance.

Tasks

• Manage payroll cycles to ensure timely and accurate processing while leading post-payroll reviews
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the payroll framework
• Partner with HR, legal, and payroll service partners to implement best industry practices
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop audit readiness plans tailored to specific countries
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related service requests, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing efficiency
• Identify and implement strategies to improve Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance
• Ensure all countries under your jurisdiction meet or exceed established SLAs
• Develop and oversee risk mitigation objectives, providing expertise on tax compliance
• Manage country self-assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Generate country-specific business intelligence reports and contribute to data mining and advanced analytics initiatives
• Facilitate operational sessions with key stakeholders alongside the Regional Senior Payroll Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years of previous international payroll experience
• 3+ years of payroll experience in complex operational environments
• Proven success in leading process improvement initiatives
• Awareness of and active involvement in current industry trends and innovations
• Competence in achieving project goals through effective outcome tracking, resource management, and adaptive planning
• Strong communication skills for addressing unforeseen challenges and promoting collaboration with clients and team members
• Experience in utilizing consulting strategies and professional communication to assist clients in adopting best practices and ensuring regulatory compliance
