The opportunity
Opportunity to work in EY offices, providing support in Security Policy development tasks. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining information security policies and procedures that protect company assets and comply with industry regulations and standards.


As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.


Your key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure security policies comply with industry regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and others.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure effective implementation of security policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on security policies and procedures.
• Monitor and review security policies regularly to ensure their relevance and effectiveness.
• Research and assess new security threats and trends to update security policies accordingly.
• Help develop and maintain information security awareness programs.
• Participate in security incident response and provide recommendations to improve policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement technical and administrative security controls.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
• Ability to work in a team
• Communication and innovation skills.
• Autonomy, proactivity and critical capacity
• Experience in a similar role of developing security policies.
• Deep knowledge of information security regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS and others.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and compliance audits.
• Experience in defining and documenting security procedures.
• Ability to write clear and concise documents.
• High level of English.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Certificaciones en seguridad (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.)
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
• Experiencia en sector financiero
• Knowledge of other languages will be valued.
