The role - your passion
-
You will be the technical and disciplinary leader of a new cross-functional software development team, working in the domain marketing integrations
-
The team will develop, document and test integrations of our internal applications (e.g. booking funnels) with an external CDP (Customer Data Platform), mostly via REST APIs
-
Additionally, the team will develop and expand internal services and modules which abstract the communication with the CDP and other tools.

You will take active part as a developer in the team’s work
-
You will coach and mentor individual team members to help them grow personally and professionally

You will evangelize best of class development practices in your team
-
You will work closely with your Product Owner and Scrum Master to help the team reach its goals

You will work closely with other team leads and engineers in the roadsurfer engineering organization
What you need to surf the wave with us
-
The ability and motivation to be a hands-on servant leader for a cross-functional development team, including data engineers and analysts
-
You have profound experience in software development, and thrive on concepts like SOLID, TDD and DDD
-
You have significant experience with PHP, experience with the Symfony framework is strongly preferred
-
Ideally you have experience with data engineering and analysis
-
Experience with marketing tools and platforms such as Segment, Braze and Mailchimp is a plus
-
You have at least some experience developing web applications with modern Java Script frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular

You have strong communication skills including excellent English, and the ability to communicate with business stakeholders in terms they can understand
