JOB DESCRIPTION

As a consultant at Sigma Technology Experience, you get the opportunity to work with world-leading companies together with your colleagues. We deliver everything from expert consulting assignments to entire teams and larger projects. Together with your manager, we make sure that you get an assignment that suits both you and us.
We now need to strengthen our team with you who possess solid knowledge in Data Governance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Act as subject matter expert for data governance topics in our data area.
- Work together with the Data Governance team to roll out governance capabilities for our customers most critical data assets.
- Define principles, guardrails and guidelines together with the product teams to secure that solutions are aligned with the architectural principles of for example Data Mesh.
- Implementing data governance processes and ways of working into a group-wide data catalog.
- Use own knowledge/experience and problem-solving skills to creatively resolve complex issues and choose the best course of action.
- Serve as a link between business and tech to ensure that the management of data is in line with current and future business requirements of our customers.
- Implement data governance roles and responsibilities to ensure clear accountability for the most critical data assets.
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS, EXPERIENCE
We believe that you possess the following skills and experiences:
- Experience in driving data governance topics in a product development organization.
- Experience from writing guidelines and guardrails.
- Experience from large and global organizations.
- Experience from data related topics.
- Used to working with both technical and business questions.
- Excellent verbal communication and documentation capacity in English and also preferably in Swedish.
- It is beneficial if you have experience from project management and agile way of working.
