Key Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting the Workshop Manager:

Support: Aid the Workshop Manager in managing daily operations, ensuring that activities are well-coordinated and resources are efficiently utilized.
Coordination: Help in scheduling tasks and managing timelines to meet production targets and deadlines.

Process Development and Improvement:

Collaboration: Work with various teams to develop and refine maintenance and repair processes for aircraft components.
Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with aviation regulations and industry standards.
Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Organizational Skills:

Task Management: Use strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
Workflow Maintenance: Maintain orderly workflows within the workshop to ensure smooth operations.

Quality Assurance:

Standards Compliance: Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities.

Attention to Detail:

Documentation Review: Carefully review documentation, track inventory, and monitor project progress to identify potential issues.
Issue Identification: Spot discrepancies or potential problems early to address them proactively.

Proactive Approach:

Problem-Solving: Anticipate challenges and implement measures to mitigate risks.
Decision-Making: Make informed decisions to ensure smooth operations.

Communication Skills:

Safety and Compliance Investigation:

Investigations: Lead or participate in investigations to identify root causes of incidents or non-compliance issues.
Corrective Actions: Implement corrective and preventive actions to address concerns and prevent recurrence.
Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Organizational Skills: Ability to schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.
Process Development: Strong capabilities in developing and improving processes.
Structured Approach: A structured and organized approach to work.
IT Proficiency: Well-versed in different IT environments and excellent computer skills.

Experience

Aviation Industry: Previous experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) setting.
Managerial Skills: Demonstrated managerial skills.
Change Management: Experience in managing change processes.
Microsoft Office 365: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365.
