Group Business Controller


Group FP&A and Controlling is a Headquarter function reporting to the SKF CFO. Our department’s main focus is to support Group Management, run analysis on current and future performance of the Group and set group wide standards and policies within finance. As Group Business Controller you are part of a team of highly skilled colleagues.
We are looking for a new colleague who can support the transformation journey that SKF has embarked on, moving to a Business Area set-up with full value chain responsibility. It is essential to maintain ongoing communication with our business units to advance organizational performance and encourage contentious improvement. To do this, we believe you have a solid understanding and experience from working with all different parts of the business value chain.

Your main tasks and responsibilities

• Support Group Management with business decision analysis
• Short-term and long-term forecasting
• Analysis of group performance on sales, profitability and capital management
• Make sure the Financial steering model supports the Group Operating model
• Support digitalization within Finance

We expect you to have

• Solid Experience from interacting with Senior management
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of improving performance from a full value chain perspective
• Master financial analysis and financial modelling
• Interest in SKF’s business and strategy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in working collaboratively, coordinating among cross-functional or cross-regional teams, and the ability to effectively work with organizational differences and priorities is a requirement
• High levels of engagement for working in team, demonstrating effective communication skills and the capacity to encourage others
• Master’s degree in Finance

Some additional information
This position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden, on a local contract. Please note that we will not be providing support with relocation.
