Job Title: IT Security Consultant
Job description:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Zero Trust architecture tailored to the organization’s needs.
- Identify critical assets and data flows to enforce stringent security controls.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate Zero Trust principles into the existing infrastructure. 2. Risk Assessment and Management.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Continuously monitor the security landscape to adapt and enhance the Zero Trust strategy. 3. Policy and Procedure Development.
- Establish and enforce security policies and procedures that align with Zero Trust principles.
- Ensure all security policies are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on Zero Trust security practices. 4. Security Tools and Technologies
- Evaluate, select, and deploy security tools and technologies that support the Zero Trust model.
- Configure and manage security solutions such as multi-factor authentication, micro-segmentation, and network access controls.
- Perform regular audits and assessments of security tools to ensure their effectiveness. 5. Incident Response and Management.
- Develop and implement incident response plans tailored to Zero Trust environments.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Conduct post-incident analyses to improve future responses and security measures. 6. Collaboration and Communication.
- Work closely with IT, security, and business teams to ensure cohesive security strategies.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Zero Trust principles and best practices.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of security initiatives and risk posture
