About the role

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate external Lab View consultants, and develop and enhance laboratory equipment to meet project and business needs.
  
• Establish technical specifications for laboratory equipment based on internal customer requirements , and oversee and maintain IT infrastructure ( hardware and software) for laboratory equipment .
  
• Purchase , install , and maintain laboratory equipment across various locations , ensuring functionality , accuracy , and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  
• Incorporate user-friendly and ergonomic design into equipment , ensure CE- labelling where appropriate , and provide first - or second- line support for laboratory equipment .
  
• Stay informed about equipment functions , safety laws , regulations , relevant technologies , and trends in automation, mechanics , and digitalization .
  
  

Who you are

• A technical degree in Mechanical, Automation or Medical Engineering (Bachelor or Yrkeshögskol eexamen ) or proven skills in the area.
• Experience of equipment development and maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience of IT and software applications.
• Experience of coordinating work and/or leading others is an advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills in written reports as well as in discussions
• Comfortable to communicate in English .
• Curiosity to work with in- house made lab equipment which supports in our continuous innovation.
• Experience from Lab View programming is an advantage.
Ability to travel approximately 2 weeks per year.
