Cellcolabs is a biotech impact start-up on a mission to promote advanced cell therapies to improve health. Through efficient large-scale production of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC´s) we make clinical trial material for research more accessible and affordable. Cellcolabs is located at Karolinska Science Park at Campus Solna and builds on the findings and clinical experience from more than 20 years of research.

Join our Medical Affairs team
Take the opportunity and join Cellcolabs rapidly growing team of dedicated professionals. We are now looking for a Medical Doctor to take on the role as PI for, as well as leader of, a follow-up trial after MSC treatments. The work will also include involvement in other clinical trials, informing about MSCs, work with the tissue donation process as well as other assignments. The work will be in close collaboration with the department of Research & Development, Clinical Success and Sales.
You have a medical background and a passion for people, communication and making a difference in medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Consultations with individuals interested in participating in trials.
- PI, principal investigator, for a follow-up trial after MSC treatment.
- Planning and running the clinical trial such as but not limited to, follow-up consultations with trial participants, registering results, writing reports, compliance with regulations and contact with authorities.
- Support ongoing clinical trials and PIs. This will from time to time require travelling and possible temporary placement outside of Sweden.
- Medical advice to other parts of the organization
- Work with information materials, identification and contact with relevant medical experts.
- Writing medical reports.
- Screening of bone marrow and adipose tissue donors
- Eager to take initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong drive for results.

Requirements:
- MD. Minimum of 2 years clinical work.
- Experience in the field of stem cells, scientific and/or clinically
- Experience from research; Ph D is not a must, but the candidate needs to be able to work independently as a principal investigator.
- GCP certification

The role does is not a chiefs role, but the candidate will need to take on tasks such as but not limited to implementation of a system for medical records, seeing to that the trial is compliant with regulatory requirements for research as well as healthcare, working in the digital research deck (EDC deck), contacts with relevant authorities.
