Job Mission:
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing projects aimed at developing and introducing new products to the global market. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver projects that enhance productivity, sustainability, and safety for our customers across various sectors. Additionally, you will work closely within the PMO team to develop and improve our project management methodologies and practices at Piab.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, focusing on new product development and introduction.
· Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
· Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
· Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure success.
· Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management.
· Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
· Foster a collaborative and results-driven project environment.
· Make decisions aligned with project objectives and priorities.
· Communicate progress, raise concerns, and recommend solutions as needed.
· Mentor new project managers on Piab's methodologies.
· Collaborate within the PMO team to enhance project management at Piab.
Preferred Competencies:
· Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
· Excellent organizational, time-management, and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in project management software and Office-related programs.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to deliver results under pressure.
· Capacity to manage multiple projects and work on tight deadlines.
· Independent and self-organizing capability in a complex environment.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with an interest in leadership and driving growth by developing people.
Experience and Education:
· Proven experience in project management, preferably in product development.
· Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
· At least 3+ years of project management experience.
· Experience with project tools such as Project Professional or Jira.
