And that’s where you come in.
We’re on the lookout for a QA Engineer who’s as passionate about quality as we are about storytelling. The position is based in Stockholm and you report to our Head of QA.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As our QA Engineer, you’ll bring your technical skills and passion for quality to shape our quality assurance processes, balancing manual and automated testing to keep our platform running smoothly. On a daily basis you’ll be:
- Designing and executing test cases, both automated and manual, to ensure a flawless user experience for our readers.
- Developing and automating QA processes to push our quality to new heights.
- Collaborating with a team of experts skilled in Agile methodologies, test automation (Selenium), and database management (My SQL, Mongo DB), all united by a love for books.
You’re already working in a QA or testing role, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and looking to take the next step in your career. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- You’re a hands-on QA expert with 2-5 years’ experience in manual testing (UI & API) and API automation using Rest Assured
- You know your way around Selenium (or similar automation tools) and have a strong foundation in Java, Mongo DB, My SQL, and GIT
- You’re passionate about agile processes and always seeking to learn and implement the latest in automation trends
- You enjoy problem-solving and collaborating across teams, bringing a proactive, quality-focused mindset to every challenge
- QA certifications are a plus, as is coding experience and knowledge of AI tools – skills we support and value at Nextory
