The Role
- Control and carry out installation pipework of new Air-Conditioning systems.
- Ensure all works are delivered on time.
- Ensure all works are completed to an acceptable quality.
- Update company mobile management information systems for all works
- To be proactive and client focused in delivery of all works.
- Always represent the company in a competent and professional manner.
- Competent in reading piping schematics.
- Candidate must understand refrigeration principles and under refrigerant cycle.
- Successful candidate must have experience and knowledge of refrigeration pipework and purging avoiding oxidisation.
- Reading and interpreting, Isometric drawings and Mechanical Drawings specifications to determine the layout, sequence, and location of piping systems.
- Measuring and cutting pipes to the required length, using hand and power bending tools, such as saws, pipe cutters, and grinders.
- Assembling and fitting small bore high bore pipe systems pipes, valves, and fittings using welding, brazing, and soldering techniques.
- Installing and connecting pipes and components according to the design specifications and safety standards.
- Performing leak tests, pressure tests, and other quality control checks to ensure that the piping systems is free from leaks and are functioning correctly and efficiently.
- To be successful as a pipefitter, you need to have a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. You should also be able to work independently or as part of a team, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing work environments and conditions.
- English speaking essential
- Experience working with Mitsubishi, Daikin, Panasonic or Toshiba Air Conditioning Systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of chiller and Close Control Systems will be an advantage.
- Possess a clean valid driving license.
- Hands-on
