About the team :

Our team Autonomous Functions specializes in self-driving vehicles and interacts closely with our colleagues at Volvo Autonomous Solutions. We work with a variety of autonomous vehicle functions such as Safety Related Vehicle functions, Safety Driver Monitor, Mode Manager, Manual Driving <> Autonomous. Being responsible for our product also means SW Verification & Calibration both in vehicles and in virtual environments.

Who are you?

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering science and have a good knowledge about the software and electronics. Your capacity to adapt your communication to your audience and to federate people around the same goal will be key to succeed in this position. You are a people oriented person and demonstrate leadership. This is an IT oriented position so coming from an IT software is a good background to have. Former experiences in automotive companies are also appreciated.

At least a first successful experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment and preferably with Safe framework is a must have.

What’s in it for you?

To be a scrum master will be your main job. Dealing with change management will be in your scope and therefore you need to demonstrate leadership to bring the team with you in this journey. You can also have additional missions:

Facilitating the communication across the teams (trains) in collaboration with others 5 scrum masters’ teams
Contributing to move to a Model Based Engineering and adapt the way of working accordingly
Participating to the improvement of the documentation for electric components
Improving the usage of Jira to improve visibility of plans and connections to milestones and other trains
