Job Description: Senior Computer Vision Engineer
Are you up to take the Next Step in the Development of the Autonomous Vehicles of the Future.
We are now looking for an experienced and committed Senior Computer Vision Engineer to lead the development of our perception stack for a unique 3D sensor technology, including event cameras. In this role, you will design, implement and optimize algorithms for object recognition, tracking and other critical tasks, with a particular focus on security applications and low latency.
You will also work with advanced technologies such as radar, AI, machine learning and lasers to create innovative security systems that anticipate and proactively manage potential hazards. Part of your duties will include designing and implementing data acquisition systems and procedures to collect sensor data in real-world environments, ensuring that the data is sufficiently diversified and comprehensive for training and validation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of software engineers, hardware engineers and product managers to integrate the perception stack into a complete system.

Your Background
We prefer that you have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field, with specialization in computer vision, machine learning, deep learning or robotics. You have at least 3 years of industrial experience developing computer vision algorithms for real-world applications, preferably in the automotive or robotics sector.
You have strong competence in programming languages such as Python and C++, and you have experience working with libraries such as Open CV, Tensor Flow or Py Torch. You are familiar with training and testing models on GPU as well as deploying these on edge devices such as Nvidia Jetson platforms.
You have a solid understanding of fundamental concepts in computer vision, including feature extraction, object recognition, tracking and recognition. Experience working with 3D sensor technologies (such as event cameras, Li DAR and depth cameras) as well as processing point clouds is highly desirable. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of best practices in software development, including CI/CD, version control, unit testing and code optimization.
