Being a Senior Software Developer at inriver means being a technical expert and a team player who is passionate about delivering the best possible product to our customers. This requires a strong ability to design and develop complex software solutions. You will be a key player in developing, maintaining and improving our PIM solution while adhering to Software Development and Software Testing best practices. The role reports to the Development Manager and it is preferably based in Malmö, Sweden

Being a Senior Software Developer at inriver means being a technical expert and a team player who is passionate about delivering the best possible product to our customers. This requires a strong ability to design and develop complex software solutions. You will be a key player in developing, maintaining and improving our PIM solution while adhering to Software Development and Software Testing best practices. The role reports to the Development Manager and it is preferably based in Malmö, Sweden
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and maintain new software features and functionalities for our PIM solution.
- Contribute to the platform scalability and reliability by building on test coverage, CI/CD pipelines for the code and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop solutions that meet our client needs.
- Perform code reviews and proactively propose improvements to increase platform efficiency.
- Work closely with Product managers to scope projects and lead their execution.
- Keep up to date on existing and emerging technologies and best practices.
- Mentor and train other team members.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering coding primarily in languages such as C#, Vue.JS and .NET technologies.
- Proficiency in working with complex and data intensive systems, relational databases and data integration technologies.
- Experience working in the whole software development life cycle with emphasis on design, development and maintenance high-quality applications.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure.
- Experience with software testing best practices and test-driven development.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Collaborative mindset. Capacity to prioritize tasks, handle change, and meet deadlines.
