Fullstack Developer – Treebula
We are looking for a versatile Fullstack Developer to help shape the future of Treebula, Sweden's leading digital marketplace for forest owners. At Treebula, we leverage smart, digital solutions to maximize the potential of forests, providing innovative tools for forest owners to manage their land, sell timber, and explore opportunities like solar energy installations.
As part of our team, you'll play a key role in building and improving the platform that enables forest owners to realize the full value of their land, while also driving our mission towards a sustainable and carbon-neutral future.
As a Fullstack Developer at Treebula:

You will collaborate closely with your team in an agile environment to design, develop, and maintain core features of our platform. You will significantly influence both backend (Python/Django) and frontend (React) development, ensuring a seamless user experience for forest owners and buyers alike. You will take on challenges ranging from integrating complex datasets to optimizing user workflows and will have the opportunity to mentor.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain features across our platform using React on the frontend and Django on the backend.
Collaborate with your team to identify and solve technical challenges, ensuring smooth platform performance.
Improve the user experience for forest owners by developing new features and refining existing ones.
Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and solution discovery.
Mentor colleagues and collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integration of new features.

What we’re looking for:

Experience working with frontend frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
Strong backend development skills, preferably in Python/Django.
Solid understanding of REST API development and integration between backend and frontend.
Previous professional experience in a fullstack development role.

Bonus points:

Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and AWS (or other cloud platforms).
Experience in small, agile teams with a startup mindset.
Passion for making fast decisions and driving innovation in a dynamic environment.
Interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
