Senior Structural Engineer

We are looking for an experienced individual in structural engineering in Gothenburg! At COWI Sweden, we are seeking a senior profile who can lead and shape the green transition within property/industrial construction. Welcome to structural engineering in Gothenburg! We are a close team working with the entire value chain within building, property and industry. This is done in close collaboration with our other structural engineers as well as adjacent roles, delivering sustainable solutions with quality in all our projects.
In the role of senior structural engineer, your daily tasks will include:

Collaborating with our project managers to design accurate static models and create calculation models and structural calculations
Being responsible for creating calculation reports and structural documentation in our projects
Collaborating with project managers to design structural details as a basis for other engineers' work
Leading the work of other engineers
Working daily with and mentoring our engineers both in Sweden and Lithuania
Continuously reviewing the work of other engineers and ensuring that solutions are correctly documented and complete
Final reviewing and quality assurance of documents before delivery

Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a very good understanding and passion for building technology and ensuring that structural engineering stands the test of time.
To match the role, we want you to:

Be educated as a civil or higher education engineer, in construction or civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering
Have good knowledge of applicable standards, be accustomed to making structural calculations, and independently design load-bearing systems and building technical solutions
Be knowledgeable in building physics and have knowledge of construction site coordination
Have more than 10 years of experience working as a structural engineer
Have very good computer skills
