We will do our best for you to develop, but we also expect your commitment and curiosity and in this way we create continuous learning.
Shift leader
About the role
As a shift leader, you are responsible for your shift, which means that you help the restaurant manager and asst. restaurant manager in its daily tasks and that the unit is run according to the company's guidelines and values. You are also responsible for working, evaluating and actively finding new improvements within your area of responsibility. This is reported to RC and ASS.
If the restaurant manager or assistant restaurant manager is not on site, you are fully responsible. The work has an operational focus, where you are expected to work in both the kitchen and till (either 75/25 or vice versa) and maintain Bastard Burger's standard of cleanliness, speed, service and quality.

Bastard Burgers is a young and fast-growing company that cares about people. We were founded in Luleå, Sweden, in 2016, and today there are more than 70 Bastard Burgers restaurants all over Sweden and additional restaurants in Finland, Norway and New York.

Requirements specification:
- Education requirements: none
- Experience requirements: none, but meritorious with previous experience in service professions, preferably in the restaurant industry
- Language requirements: speak English or Swedish. Meritorious if you are fluent in both languages.
- Desirable qualities and behaviours: we would like you to be responsible & stress-resistant, have a positive attitude, have a commitment to Bastard Burgers and like to keep an eye on us from before!
- We would also like for you to live in the immediate area of the unit
