Software Engineer- CI/CD Migration and IoT Development

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a strong sense of Dev Ops culture to play a crucial role in migrating our CI/CD processes from Gerrit/Jenkins to Git Hub/Git Hub Actions together with other team members. This position is not just about the migration; once completed, you will shift your focus to software development for our Io T Hub and cloud applications. You will be joining a team that embraces Dev Ops principles and values collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a software engineer looking to make a significant impact in the evolving world of smart home technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand our current CI/CD pipeline utilizing Gerrit and Jenkins.
- Design and implement a new CI/CD workflow using Git Hub and Git Hub Actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth migration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the migration process.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials related to the new CI/CD processes.
- Contribute to the software development of our cloud applications and our Io T Hub for home automation solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
Qualification
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software development with a strong background in CI/CD pipeline development and migration.
- Proficiency in Git, Git Hub, and Git Hub Actions.
- Familiarity with Jenkins and Gerrit.
- Experience in programming languages such as Type Script and Go.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms and services, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Cloud Formation, CDK).
- Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively within a highly Dev Ops-driven team.
- Good knowledge of Linux, with a preference for Linux as the default working environment.
- Knowledge of Io T applications and embedded systems.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and Dev Ops principles.

This is a full-time position located in Malmö at IKEA of Sweden. IKEA of Sweden is responsible for developing the IKEA range and making it available to stores and customers all over the world.
