Software Engineer in Performance Testing

We are looking for an ambitious Software Engineer in Performance Testing for our Client, who is developing innovative optimization solutions for the world’s leading airlines. If you are an engineer with passion for software performance testing to work with improving existing solutions as well as taking part in innovating new solutions to meet existing and future problems, this position is for you!
Key responsibilities
  • Designing, implementing and conducting large scale performance testing
  • Analyzing performance metrics and monitors to ensure quality
  • Root cause analysis of test failures, performance, and scalability issues
  • Installing and preparing target environment
Ideal candidate profile
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Skilled in developing Load Runner scripts
  • Programming experience (e.g., Python, C, shell scripts)
  • Technical expertise in performance requirements analysis, test design, effort estimation, and testing
  • Advanced Linux knowledge
  • Experienced with infrastructure, e.g., virtual machines, databases, firewalls
  • Ability to execute tests, analyze the results and present detailed reports on response times, throughput, network utilization and other significant performance metrics
Conditions
  • Location: Göteborg, Sweden
  • Work type: Hybrid – at least 3x/week on-site
  • Salary: 700 – 850 SEK/hour
  • Employment type: B2B contract (self-employed consultant)

This requisition is for a locally hired position in SWEDEN. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work on B2B contract in Sweden.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 700,00kr - 850,00kr per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
