About this opportunity:

Main responsibility is to:

• Support in design of new services and platforms.
• Act as driver and technical coordinator for demands, projects and tasks.
• Convert design to a cost-efficient solution architecture compliant to architectural principles.
• Overall control and management of the storage service hardware and Infra platform.
• Maintain and create system configuration and operation guidelines documentation relevant to service.
• Operational tasks: Asset-/Change-/Incident-/Problem-/Request handling.

What you will do:

• Drive and contribute technical innovations to the service strategy plans and roadmaps.
• Maintain service anatomy.
• HW and SW installation, including future hybrid cloud environments, of new, remove, repair, upgrade, and patching. Togheter with operations team keeping systems up to date according to service and Ericsson design, guidelines, best practices, and recommendation from vendor(s).
• Data migration and stakeholder coordination.
• Act as the contact person towards sourcing and system vendors.
• Reply to general queries from users of the service.
• Quality Assurance (Alert, Audit, Log, Security).
• Manage Proactive monitoring of services and functions using tools. Managing alerting systems and tool's (internal and auto support functions).
• Management of AD set-up (EGAD/LDAP), IDM roles and user set-up, NW security zones, Certificates, system and building access, JIRA, confluence etc.).
• 2nd & 3rd line support.
• Do risk analysis, security assessment and business continuity management.
• Ensure delivery of technical solutions, quality, highlight risks and impediments to service development teams.
• Ensure Storage, network and Security operations follows high security standard and Ericsson Information Security Requirements (ISR).
• Documentation. (Project documentation, way of working documentation, system documentation etc).
• Adopt cloud native and hybrid cloud technology principles.
• Work collaboratively with customers to improve the product.

• MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent level of knowledge.
• 5+ years’ experience as Storage engineer and Storage Architect or equivalent level of knowledge.
• Proficiency in storage management software and tools like Net App, DELL, Pure, HP and others commonly used in the industry.
• Deep understanding of various storage technologies. This includes knowledge of different storage types like SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), DAS (Direct Attached Storage), and cloud storage solutions (Understanding of cloud storage services like AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage, as many organizations are adopting hybrid or multi-cloud storage). Familiarity with storage protocols (e.g., SCSI, NFS, SMB).
• Understanding of programming languages such as C/C++, Power Shell, Ansible and Phyton.
• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.
• Experience in any of the following areas - Virtualization, cloud, container technologies, development of microservices, SW architecture and agile methods and continuous integration is beneficial.
