What will you do?
As Store Manager you are responsible to run your store professionally and meet the international standards defined for our Lindt stores worldwide. You will be responsible for achieving and/or exceeding the store's sales budget, while ensuring profitable store operations and performing all functions necessary to provide superior customer service. This includes the appropriate cash and budget controls, management and development of all resources including store personnel, inventory and facilities. You will;

• Ensure store meets or exceeds company standards for operational controls having full P&L responsibility.
• Ensure store meets or exceeds weekly, monthly, annual sales budgets and consistently contributes to the company's overall achievement.
• Ensure store reaching the defined goals and targets in terms of turnover, profitability and customer management.
• Ensure store meets all company standards and expectations for visual direction and brand presentation.
• Train, coach and mentor chocolate advisors to be highly engaged and fluent with sales techniques, ensuring expert product knowledge.
• Partner with the Retail Manager to hire, manage and develop store personnel to ensure a dynamic, knowledgeable and sales driven team.

As a leader, you inspire confidence and create a positive atmosphere by being a good role model and always available in the store. We strongly believe in 'lead by example' and that our leaders should be hands on out on the floor together with their team. It is therefore important that you and your staff secure engagement on floor level throughout the day, as well as during evenings, weekends and peak periods of our key seasons.
What do you need to succeed in this position?

• We are looking for an experienced leader and salesperson who has at least 3 years of experience in Retail.
• You are used to coaching and developing a sales team towards challenging goals.
• If you have previous experience as a store manager or department manager in retail or grocery trade, that is a big plus.
• You have previous experience with recruitment, budgeting, scheduling, stock statistics and purchasing.
• The position requires that you master working in several different computer systems.
• It is important that you handle the English language well and are good at communicating.
• Flexible regarding working hours and can work evenings & weekends and during intensive periods such as Easter and Christmas.

You have a great sense for professional customer management and understand fully that your store will play a key in how the shopping experience is shaping the consumers’ view of Lindt, as a premium brand as well as a great company. You feel comfortable leading with a structural approach, can set clear goals and see yourself and your staff managing even challenging situations in a positive way.
As a person you are an open, engaging, positive and service minded individual with strong leadership skills. You have an exceptionally high level of enthusiasm for providing your customers with a premium shopping experience. You can work independently and with a great deal of entrepreneurial spirit. Excellent knowledge in English is required since we expect a great mix on national and international customers to our store.
