The Supervisor/Working Foreman will oversee and work alongside our team at the construction sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in concrete construction, including formwork, reinforcing, pouring, and finishing. They will be responsible for supervising the construction activities and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Tasks

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of the team.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine project requirements.
• Direct the placement, consolidation, and finishing of concrete.
• Supervise the assembly and removal of formwork.
• Inspect the quality of work performed to ensure it meets specifications and standards.
• Train and mentor crew members in safe construction practices and the proper use of equipment.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Coordinate with other trade supervisors to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Provide hands-on assistance with concrete placement and finishing as needed.
• Monitor and manage resources, including materials, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with project management to report on project status and any issues that arise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification or associate degree in construction management is a plus.
• Good English language skills
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.
• Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
