Who we are:
Reach for Change is an international non-profit organization with the mission to unleash the power of innovation and entrepreneurship to create a better world for women, children, and youth. We find and support local, early-stage social entrepreneurs to scale their innovations and solve the most pressing issues faced by children and youth. Our core product is developing programs for social entrepreneurs, in which the entrepreneurs are supported to scale their innovations through capacity building, networks and funding. Being co-created by successful entrepreneurs in the non-profit and the business sector in 2010 in Sweden, we have a portfolio of 1600 social entrepreneurs in 18 countries across three continents (Africa, Central Asia, and Europe) who, together with us, have positively impacted more than 4 million children’s lives to date. Who are you?
We believe you have a strong passion when it comes to social entrepreneurship and improving the world for children and youth. You have excellent writing, communication, and project management skills, are flexible in your work, and enjoy being creative. As a person, you have an entrepreneurial, problem-solving go-getter mindset. You don’t hesitate to take initiative, are proactive, as well as enjoy having many different projects to juggle at the same time.

Hands-on experience with a number of different tasks with the end goal of supporting our social entrepreneurs. You will be working next to the Country Manager of Sweden by supporting Team Sweden in building the ecosystem of social entrepreneurship via a number of active projects. This is a demanding role where an impeccable work ethic is integral. Specific tasks will be based on your skills and your goals and can include:
- Planning and support facilitating workshops
- Support in running events & communication campaigns
- Support in creating content for our media channels (social media, websites, newsletters) contact with partners, taking notes, and inputs from stakeholder meetings
- Translations, proofreading, and editing texts
- Participation in search and selection process for our programs
- Follow up communication with applicants
- Research on certain topics online, etc.
- Are a student of entrepreneurship, business, political science, international relations, development studies, human rights, global studies, or similar.
- Have great proficiency in English and Swedish – the languages we use for most of our communication.
- Are connected to a university where the internship is part of your education plan. This is an unpaid position, however, it’s very important to us that you are receiving funds from a third party (CSN or other sources of income).
- It is a plus if you have experience working with social entrepreneurship.
