Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Manager to join our Financial systems team and lead our testing efforts. You will be part of a multinational team located in various countries across the AFRY group including Financial System Specialists, Solution Architects and Business Developers.
In this new position as a Test Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire testing lifecycle, ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective testing strategies, manage testing resources, and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes including test tools and frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing financial processes and up to 5 years experience of a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Test Strategies: Set up testing strategies for both functional, non-functional tests and integrations, that cover the financial processes, multiple platforms and including external services.
• Manage Testing Teams: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of testers, providing guidance and support
• Coordinate Testing Activities: Oversee all testing activities, including functional, regression and performance testing.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with project team members, testers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Monitor and Report on Testing Progress: Track testing progress, identify risks, and provide regular updates to management.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Automate Testing Processes: Promote and implement test automation to improve testing speed and accuracy.
• Documentation: Ensure documentation of the test process, test plans, test cases, test results, and any issues identified during testing. Maintain clear and detailed records to support transparency and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Test Manager working with financial processes
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English.
