Your role
Join our Core Team as a QA engineer and ensure product quality for our clients. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, assess risk, and design test activities. Your role includes developing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated tests, conducting regression testing, and identifying defects. You'll work with developers on testing strategies, analyze business needs for feasibility, and help maintain automation frameworks and the test environment. You’ll also contribute to process improvements using tools like Confluence, Git, Jira, Postman, and Test Rail.
As part of our global team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with customers in the UK, Sweden, and occasionally the US. With a diverse mix of Swedish and British members, our team promotes a collaborative environment and values proactive individuals who are excellent communicators, team players, and motivated doers. This role may also involve occasional travel within Europe, especially to UK.

Your profile
The successful candidate will have a relevant academic background in IT, along with experience in test manual and/or partly automated, and strong requirement analysis skills. Additional experience in various domains, such as dispatch systems, emergency response systems, geospatial technology, would be beneficial.
Requirements for this role is:

• +5 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments
• Experience in Test-driven development (TDD) practices
• Atlassian, Confluence and Jira
• Test automation, including Gherkin and Specflow
• Experience with CCTV/Video solutions

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
