The User Experience team at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user experience, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.

About the role

As a Web Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to better understand user behavior and platform performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop actionable insights, and implement strategies to enhance the user experience and drive business growth.

• Conduct deep-dive analysis of web data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and present regular dashboards, reports, and custom tracking solutions to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to implement tracking solutions, optimize website performance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform data quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of web analytics data.
• Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams on web analytics implementation, data interpretation, and optimization strategies.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Develop a strong working relationship with the key stakeholders to ensure deliveries that are in line with expectations and the overall company strategy.
• Serve as the primary data and analytics expert for the key stakeholders.

We believe you are

• 3+ years of experience as a Digital Analyst/Implementation Specialist and in a web analytics role
• Proficiency in using web-based and analytical tools like Adobe Analytics
• Understand the concept of measurability and web analytics implementation, with the ability to communicate with analytics teams and developers
• Expertise in web and app product analytics, building data visualizations and dashboards
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for advanced data analysis
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to learn and educate others within the field
• Structured, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset, with an understanding of web development and IT development processes
• Passionate about working in a highly collaborative and agile environment

Nice to have

• Experience with data from mobile applications
• Familiar with some of the behavioral analysis tools like Hotjar
• General understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script), and UX/UI principles
• Experience with Power BI tools
• Certifications in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms
• It is advantageous if you have worked within a transport company, and if you have previous experience with Jira and/or MS Dev Ops

Ideally, you should be located in or close to Gothenburg, Sweden - and have a valid work permit for Sweden. Experience in consulting will be an added advantage.
