Within our dynamic Finance team you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring regulatory compliance in this exciting and rapidly evolving field.
As our Accountant, you will monitor accounting ledgers and reporting systems, working across both financial and managerial accounting domains. You'll oversee the invoice process, including those involving cryptocurrencies, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
The ideal candidate brings a few years of experience in an international finance team, thriving in dynamic environments and embracing new systems and technologies. You possess a proactive and innovative mindset, always seeking ways to optimize processes and drive efficiency within our financial operations.
Your core responsibilities, will include:

Monitoring the different accounting ledgers and reporting systems.
Oversee the invoice process including T&E and Credit cards.
Managing all bookings, accruals, prepayments and amortisations.
Monitoring the crypto currency bookings and reporting.
Closing of the books and respective reporting on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Being the main contact person for the financial audit.
Support in the budgeting and management reporting.
Preparing tax reporting (VAT, income tax, WHT).
Ensure timely bank payments including payroll.
Managing reconciliations.
Maintaining a proper documentation of processes, enhancing reports and streamlining processes.
Providing subject matter expertise and support on ad hoc projects.

Your story:

You are based in Switzerland
You have a Bachelor in Finance and accounting or similar education
You already have 5 to 6 years experience in an accounting department
You are Fluent in English - other languages are a plus
You have good technical skills (e.g. excel)
You wish to pursue a career in the Finance function
You are a fast learner
You have a flexible and innovative mindset

Experience with crypto transactions or interest in crypto currencies.
Experience in management reporting.
Experience with Netsuite, Yokoy or other accounting systems
