THE ROLE:

Creating firmware concepts and architectures for embedded systems and selecting the optimal embedded MCUs or SOMs
Implementation of embedded firmware in C/C++
Integration of various communication technologies, wireless and wired
Defining test routines and ensuring smooth release management
Close cooperation with our own hardware development
Developing technical fundamentals for project acquisitions
Maintaining partnerships with customers, suppliers and internal organizational units

WHAT IS NEEDED

Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience
Several years of experience in firmware development of embedded systems (C/C++)
In-depth knowledge of embedded frameworks such as Free RTOS, Zeyphr, ESP-IDF
Knowledge of Linux build frameworks such as Yocto or Buildroot, as well as the common Linux distributions
Knowledge of wireless systems such as BLE, Wi Fi, Lo Ra, NB-Io T, LTE Cat-M1
Enthusiasm for new technologies in the areas of Io T, communication and microcontroller platforms
Enjoyment in constantly learning and deepening new topics, as well as agility and affinity for complex tasks
Fluent written and spoken English and German skills
