Junior Relationship Manager – EAM desk ZURICH
On behalf of a Swiss private bank in Zurich, we are looking for a Junior RM to work in the EAM desk assisting a senior RM and developing a book of clients.
The Junior Relationship Manager will be working within the bank’s EAM department in the Zurich office. We are looking for a person who is eager to develop herself as a Relationship Manager and to contribute to the team’s success.

Your responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of a Senior Relationship Manager, develop a book of new EAM
• Develop your own network for client acquisition
• Meet prospects and clients, prepare client meetings and manage follow-up actions
• Understand the product offering and develop ability to pitch also complex solutions to clients
• Develop your own value proposition in accordance to the bank strategy as a holistic advisor
• Open new accounts and follow-up on administrative matters
• Ensuring the plausibility and truthfulness of the client information, evaluation whether the client is at risk or not, responsible for the account opening process (identity check, KYC, World check etc.)
• Maintain close collaboration with specialists to keep up-do-date with (investment) solutions and developments in the financial industry
• Provide to the client with investment and management advice/proposals, aligned with the client’s goals, assets and chosen investment.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date client investment profiles using internal tools
• Execute transactions, payments and other banking operations
• Assist a Senior Relationship Manager in the day-to-day work servicing clients and handling administrative and operational requests: Daily contact by phone or face-to-face and management of relations with the Bank's clients and internal services (trading, investments, compliance, legal, back-office, management) ; execution of clients’ instructions (trades, transfers, etc.); ensuring that call-backs are carried out systematically; keeping the client database up to date by ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations (AML, FINMA, FATCA etc.); Managing fiduciary deposit & loans placements & renewals, investment orders execution (equity, bonds, funds, hedge funds, and private equity), Cash and FOREX transactions, etc. ; supporting with all the periodic reviews (PEP, Low and High Risk reviews)

Your profile

• Degree in finance or similar qualification
• Ideally a post-graduate qualification such as CFA or CWMA
• 5+ years’ experience working in an EAM desk
• Very good network in the EAM segment in German-speaking Switzerland
• Strong client orientation
• Commercial appetite with proven acquisition skills and negotiation skills
