Overview:
Latte Stories is a brand new specialty coffee shop, with a brunch menu inspired by cross-cultural flavours. We opened our store in June 2024, and are preparing to open our second store in Switzerland soon. Our concept is dedicated to creating a home-away-from-home for our international community. We offer an inviting place for gentle adventurers and daily difference-makers to kick back and connect over good coffee, interesting food and great conversations.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, motivated and hands-on individual to join us as a Kitchen Helper to support us the long term operation of a brand new coffee shop. If our concept resonates with you, please read on!
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high quality hot and cold brunch dishes adhering to Latte Stories recipes and standards, including speed of service
• Set up, maintain and clean the kitchen throughout shift
• Prepare and serve other food items, like cakes
• Communicate regularly with the team
• Ensure high levels of cleanliness throughout your workflow and the shop
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Be a brand ambassador for Latte Stories coffee and food
• Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community

Requirements:

• Experience working in a restaurant, breakfast cooking experience is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong sense of ownership
• Open-minded to new ideas
• Conversational English and German
• Passion for food and commitment to delivering excellent quality products experience.
• Ability to work independently
• Working on weekends
• Must have permit to work in Switzerland
