The United Nations Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) is a partnership between the United Nations, Member States, and the civil society, which supports women led and women’s rights organizations working to build peace and provide humanitarian response throughout the world. UN Women hosts the Secretariat of the United Nations Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund. The WPHF Secretariat mobilizes resources, designs funding windows and mechanisms, ensures timely and quality monitoring and reporting. The L-HUB mobilizes knowledge, resources and expertise of I/NGOs, private sector entities, governments, researchers, and other entities to develop capacity development and knowledge exchange initiatives for CSO partners at global level. The L-HUB encompasses a range of programmes and tools designed to foster networking, solidarity and movement building among CSOs working on the frontlines of crisis and support their resilience and institutional development.
Under the supervision of WPHF Deputy Head of Secretariat and in collaboration with the L-HUB team, the L-HUB Knowledge Management intern will be responsible for providing project and research support to WPHF L-HUB initiatives targeting WPHF active and past CSO partners and additional CSOs working in conflict-affected settings.
