We’re looking for a Product Owner / Product Specialist to:
- be responsible for the implementation of the roadmap as Product Owner in one of our agile pods within UBS Partner
- deeply understand the needs of UBS Partner clients, act as their voice within the Pod and prioritize epics and user stories in the backlog accordingly to achieve business goals
- be responsible for creating impactful change to our clients through the delivery of new features within UBS Partner while ensuring the high quality and compliance of the product with risk and security policies
- mitigate impediments to the team’s goals, align across pods and with crew leads and act as your pod’s ambassadors towards internal stakeholders and clients
- partner with our business development team on product offering for existing or prospect clients
- oversee the market and product performance to identify distribution opportunities and challenges
- act as Subject Matter Expert for specified modules within the UBS Partner platform

Your team
You’ll be working in the UBS Partner Product Delivery team in Basel / Switzerland. Our team is a very global and dynamic team which offers a full-fledged digital investment advice proposition tool to third-party Wholesaler banks. You will be working on concepts and specifications, design and refinement, implementation, testing and ultimate delivery of the new functionalities and enhancements on our platform. Your colleagues from business and IT are located in Basel and Zürich, Poland, Hong Kong, Tokyo and India.
Your expertise
- good knowledge and interest in financial markets and investment processes, with a thirst for innovation
- experience in working within agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product ownership (such as performing product owner role in a scrum team)
- deliver complex products to clients, ideally within the financial industry
- team player with a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong active listening and communication skills
- ability to multi-task and manage concurrent projects and tasks, knowing when to escalate effectively with attention to details and the ability to complete tasks independently with high quality standards
- fluent in English
- bachelor or master degree in finance, business administration or business information technology
