What to expect:
Being a client-focused Sales Business Development Representative at D-Wave serves as the first line of contact for many of our prospects and leads. You will have the opportunity to connect interested parties with knowledgeable experts to help them achieve success in their business. You will work closely with the EMEA Regional Sales team with huge potential for future growth, reporting to the Head of Global Sales Development.The D-Wave EMEA team is responsible for driving our sales pipeline, overall revenue growth, regional partnerships and much more. We are an agile team that takes pride in solving hard problems, testing and learning, creative thinking, developing strategic approaches that directly impact business requirements, excellence in execution, and having a lot of fun.

Your tasks:

Assist with inbound demand generation campaigns and programs to convert Marketing Qualified Leads to customer meetings
-
Suggest and implement improvements in building sales pipeline, outbound prospecting strategy and execution to drive 1st meetings for the field sales organization
-
Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
-
Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
-
Liaise with Sales, Finance, Marketing and Product Development to and increase sales
-
Manage customer relationships within Salesforce
-
Promote operational excellence through pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and using data to recognize trends and improve business across all areas
-
Work closely with sales representatives and the EMEA General Manager with quoting and other tasks as needed to grow the business in the region
-
Learn from sales representatives and take on introductory sales account management tasks, with the potential to own future accounts
About you:
-
Someone with 5+ years of proven work experience as a Sales Development Rep or equivalent, ideally within a B2B technology environment
-
Lead generation guru
-
Experience in the manufacturing, logistics, supply chain or retail sector
-
Someone who aspires to be a sales leader
-
Someone who has a degree in a relevant discipline
-
Hands-on with sales operations, prospecting, meeting setting, and driving sales of technology and associated professional services
-
Excellent with interpersonal and communication skills
-
Excellent when it comes to attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills
-
A strong listener and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Experienced with Salesforce is a plus
-
Able to travel up to 10% on occasion
-
You are fluent in German and English.

You are based in Germany or Switzerland.
