This is a fast-paced challenging position, working across multiple international markets and projects, delivering exceptional paid social media activity for our client UBS. Core responsibilities:
The Senior Paid Social Media Manager, reporting to Head of Performance Team UBS, has the following core responsibilities:
- Manage Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, Pinterest, You Tube and other paid social media offerings and opportunities, across all ad units for all global social media activity.
- Optimizing and executing methodologies against paid social plans utilizing native platforms, third party and internal tools, as required to deliver efficient and profitable Paid Social campaigns.
- Lead data driven media solutions for best in class targeting and optimization practice.
- Maintain a data-first approach through continual experimentation and optimization to meet and exceed company goals.
- Work closely with strategy and insights team to constantly apply data driven insights to activity to push brand work forward.
- Collaborate closely with content and creative teams to ensure social content is best in class and appropriately adapted to specific social media channels.
- Oversee partnerships and liaison with social platforms and partners.
- Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Manage all reporting and analysis for social media activity, including presenting key social insights and activity to clients.
- Act as a market leader expert on all social media activity including but not limited to social media trends, digital trends, best in class social campaigns, creative, media, and targeting activity.
- Build media plans – budget distribution, market split, creative formats.
Qualifications

Pre-requisites:
- Degree in Marketing, Media or Communications
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Advertising manager with demonstrated success
- Meta certified with experience using Facebook Marketing Partners
- Experience and knowledge in other social media channels including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, Pinterest and You Tube
- Analytic, listening & forecasting skills with the ability to interpret and apply insights
- Technical knowledge of tracking (UTMs, Pixels etc.), tooling, experiment implementation, etc.
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently yet collaboratively across a matrix type structure.
- Strong client and problem-solving focus with growth mind-set
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Understands the relationship between the marketing and sales funnel and offline conversions.
- Actively maintains high level of understanding for an evolving social environment.
- Fluency in English – knowledge of German is a bonus
