We are pleased to announce the reopening of our Luxury Boutique Hotel in Gstaad, while we will open a second Luxury Private Property closed to our Hotel.

Mission

We are looking for a Sommelier (M/F) who will be in charge of the wine cellar and the selling propositions for our guests in both properties.

This profile aims to attract a well-rounded, versatile sommelier who will not only excel in wine service but also contribute positively to the overall guest experience at the Gstaad hotel under the wine support from our Master Sommelier from Hungary.

Profil

Education, Experience:

• Wine Expertise: The candidate should possess a solid foundation in wine education, preferably with formal qualifications in wine tasting, pairing, and sales.
  
• Experience in Wine Sales: Proven experience in selling wine, with a track record of understanding customer preferences and delivering exceptional service.
  
• Bartending Knowledge: While the primary role is as a sommelier, the candidate should have a basic understanding of bartending. They should be capable of stepping into the bar role when needed, assisting with classic cocktails, and ensuring a seamless service experience.
  Skills and Competencies:
  

• Customer-Centric Approach: The ability to engage with guests, provide personalized wine recommendations, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  
• Team Player: A collaborative spirit, ready to work closely with the F&B team, including bartenders, chefs, and waitstaff.
  
• Young and Dynamic: We are looking for a candidate who brings youthful energy and enthusiasm to the role. Someone who is eager to learn, grow, and adapt to the unique demands of our Gstaad clientele.
  
• Open-Minded and Flexible: The ideal candidate should be open to new ideas and flexible in their approach, with a strong willingness to collaborate and innovate within the team.
