Reporting to Rothschild & Co Wealth Management's Geneva office, the incumbent will be responsible for clients who are primarily resident in Switzerland, as well as resident in the UK and other European geographical locations. You would also be an integral part of the Rothschild Martin Maurel Asset Engineering team (15 people) at a technical level and will be required to travel regularly to France to participate in team activities (technical meetings, meetings with wealth professionals,...).

Responsibilities

Assist the front office teams with existing or prospecting clients, in particular with:

preparing proposals for asset/wealth organization: analysis of the tax situation and structuring proposals (sale or reorganization of financial or real estate assets, preparation for transmission in a Swiss or international framework, ...)
the coordination of the implementation of the proposed strategy, with any external council (lawyers, notaries ...) and follow it on the long term according to tax and family developments
carrying out research on legal and tax matters and monitoring legal and tax, legislative and regulatory regulations
creating content both internally (in order to disseminate technical knowledge and current topics) and externally (articles, client letters, training,...) with the aim of improving the visibility of Rothschild & Co Geneva

Education and Qualifications

Master's degree in tax law, wealth law or wealth management
Proficient in MS Office, in particular Power Point and Excel

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

10 years' experience in a senior wealth planner/wealth engineer role or in a Patrimonial law lawyer role
Excellent master in Swiss taxation (role/forfait) as well as excellent bases in European wealth taxation
Autonomous, adaptable and rigorous, comfortable in both written and oral expression
Excellent relationship skills and team spirit
Fluent communication skills in English and French are a must
Excellent organization skills
