Location: Taiwan
The Backend Software Developer will be part of the TMS team. The position will work with our US team on our Transportation Management System (TMS). The main focus is developing a transportation management system, involving collaboration with courier companies to establish system integration and interfacing with warehouse operations for seamless coordination.
Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle application development
• Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages.
• Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
• Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
• Software modeling and simulation
• Software testing and quality assurance
• Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality
• Integrate software with existing systems
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
• Project Planning and Project Management
• Maintain standards compliance
• Implement localization or globalization of software

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM majors, advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a backend or full-stack developer role.
• Mastering of C# programming language and .NET framework (ASP.NET Core) with ample relevant experience showcased on the CV.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.
• Solid knowledge and experience with computer science: data structure, algorithm, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Frequent practitioners of Leetcode or similar coding exercises/learning platforms.
• Experience in container technology and microservice architecture.
• Experience with Git repository.
• Experience in cloud-based architectures (K8s, SQL/No SQL, Message Queues, ESBs, Kubernetes/Docker, AWS)
• Good command of English (written+verbal) and Mandarin Chinese (verbal).
• Good communication skills (outward going)
• Strong analytical skills.

Preferred

• Experience with the technologies needed for the project: (kafka, rabbitmq, redis, graphql, etc.)
• Knowledge of RESTful API.
• Knowledge of asynchronous queue processing.
• Understanding of how to architect multithreaded applications.
• Experience using a relational database system.
• Experience with React.
• Experience with Redis or other equivalent technology.
• Proficient with HTML 5, CSS 3.0, Java Script ES5/6/7
• E-Commerce industry experience

About the employment - EOR hiring
Worca's all-in-one HR platform simplifies the process of managing payroll and taxes in multiple countries where clients might not have a local entity or legal presence. As our client does not currently have a legal entity in the APAC region, they leverage Worca's HR solutions service to handle in-country labor laws and streamline the complexities of cross-border employment.
Consequently, you will be officially employed by Worca and considered an overseas personnel of our client. Worca will act as their local legal representative, providing support with international payroll, employment compliance, and tax obligations to ensure ongoing employment and labor law compliance. Our client will retain responsibility for critical aspects such as interviews, compensation approval, job content, access rights, and other decision-making processes.
