The successful candidate will play a key role in leading government relations projects in Taiwan and support the build out of our rapidly expanding operations in Taiwan. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth client-specific research and analysis on policy issues, delivering high-quality reports.
- Develop strategic outreach and engagement plans for clients, mapping realistic pathways to success.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding their needs and effectively handling communication.
- Work with colleagues to develop and execute advocacy programs engaging with key policy stakeholders in Taiwan.
- Expand the company’s political network, including Members of the Legislative Yuan, Executive Yuan, Ministry officials and relevant think-tanks and academia.
- Generate innovative ideas and contribute to new business development proposals.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential, both spoken and written.
- +2 years of relevant experience in government, public policy, government relations, or consulting.
- Good understanding of Taiwanese politics and the policy-making process.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills, with a keen ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proactive and creative problem-solving abilities, working well within an international, expert team.
- An enthusiastic approach to contributing to meaningful policy dialogue and addressing real-world challenges.
- A positive, collaborative, and can-do attitude.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or higher in political science, public policy, international relations, economics or law.
- Working experience in the Legislative Yuan, Members’ office, Executive Yuan, Ministry or Agency and proficiency in Taiwanese will be seen as assets.
