This position reports to
M&S Finance Manager APAC
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead local finance teams and act as a business partner to the Marketing, Sales, or Service business manager to optimize financial performance for the organization under scope. Each day, you will support in making effective business-decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate solutions to management. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Smart Power and Smart Building Division in Taiwan. Main stakeholders are Division Manager. You will be mainly accountable for: • Contributing to the definition of strategy for the responsible Sales, Marketing, or Service organization. • Serving as a key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy for your own area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing, and adjusting the implementation plan, as needed. • Driving appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency with special focus on profitability, demand analysis, go-to-market, Return on Investment (Ro I), and sales efficiency. • Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for your area of responsibility.Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting
- Experience in working in a controller role – responsibility of P&L
- ERP exposure – SAP
- Able to work independently and also be a strategic member of a team.
- Able to analyse, problem solve and give appropriate guidance for corrective actions
- Guide the business unit to make sound business decisions and maximise orders, revenue, profitability
