About the job
As the Package Lead Cables you will play a pivotal role in leading the sub marine cable package (SMC package) for large-scale offshore wind farm projects. This involves managing the entire lifecycle of the SMC package, from initial design through to supply, installation, termination & testing, commissioning, and servicing of the SMC. You’ll be reporting directly to the Technical Director and working closely with the Client Success department.IX Renewables is currently engaged in the active development of several offshore wind farms across Taiwan, and you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the execution of the SMC package from design to handover, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and project milestones.

Develop and manage the SMC package execution plan, including budget oversight and performance tracking.

Oversee supply and service contracts, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project timelines.

Coordinate with various work stream leads, including engineering, quality assurance, transport, and installation, to ensure seamless execution.

Make informed, budget-conscious decisions within the defined authority matrix, managing package-related issues efficiently.

Interface with external authorities, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and alignment.

Support procurement and contract preparation, contributing to the technical and commercial assessment of installation methodologies.
About you
-
Experience: Minimum of 10 years working on offshore wind projects, with some experience ideally gained in Taiwan.

Expertise: Solid background in offshore with specific experience as a Package Lead Cables. Familiar with industry standard contracting frameworks.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Marine Logistics, or a related field.

Project Management: Proven experience managing complex projects with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Cross-functional Coordination: Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines and manage project interfaces effectively.

Communication: Strong intercultural communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English. The capability to understand Traditional Chinese / speak Mandarin is a strong advantage

Mindset: A self-starter with a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented mentality.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel throughout the APAC region and Europe as required.
