In one sentence
As an Infrastructure Specialist at Amdocs, you will be part of a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the infrastructure supporting our multi-vendor, multi-technology network optimization platform. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the infrastructure across the APAC region.
What will your job look like?
- Design, implement, and manage the infrastructure for Amdocs Actix One delivery projects, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements and provide the best solutions to meet customer needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery, acting as the primary point of contact between the company and hardware vendors.
- Address and resolve any issues or disputes that arise with vendors, collaborating with internal teams to resolve vendor related problems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure-related issues, working closely with R&D and other technical teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including infrastructure designs, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
- Provide training and support to customers and internal teams on infrastructure-related topics.
- Participate in pre-sales activities and POCs, providing technical expertise on infrastructure solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement process, implementing automation and optimization to enhance infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
All you need is...
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure design and management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Good knowledge in any scripting languages (e.g., Python, PHP, Bash, Power Shell)
- Proven experience in vendor management or related field.
- Knowledge of industry trends and vendor landscape.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic knowledge of networking, security, and databases (e.g., Oracle, My SQL, Postgres, Maria DB, Cassandra).
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve technical issues quickly.
- Skillful in building trust and confidence with stakeholders through high-quality and timely deliveries.
- Flexibility with working across multiple time zones based on project requirements.
- [Region Specific Role] Ability to speak and read Mandarin is a requirement to support the China/Taiwan region.
