Project Sales Manager, K&B Taiwan

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Reporting directly to General Manager, K&B Taiwan, the Project Sales Manager, K&B Taiwan is responsible for planning, strategizing and leading all project sales activities in Taiwan market to maximize the sales revenue and market share of Kohler through distributors to builders, plumbers, contractors, and other specifies and users in accordance with establishing profitability and service goals in Taiwan.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and maintain contact with potential and existing design architects and developers to create awareness of Kohler’s products.
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with contractors, general contractors, builders, architects, plumbers and engineers to convey the advantages of using products for their customers.
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with distributors in assigned area to promote Kohler products.
  • Lead, coach and train distributors’ sales team to drive their performance to align with Kohler business objectives and to comply with Kohler practices
  • Review the activities of distributor sales; provide guidance and training to the distributors in resolving specific questions or problems related to selling efforts or technical issue.
  • Analyze and evaluate sales trends and potentials, competition, economic/business conditions, and distributor performance, recommend changes in sales programs and distributorships to make area operation more effective in meeting sales volume quotas.
  • Prepare sales forecast for Taiwan based on knowledge of area sales trends and potentials, and area competition and economic/business conditions.
  • Conduct distributor warehouse and on-site consumer inspections as required, support distributor and attend to customer needs and complaints regarding product quality, installation or performance.
  • Ensure smooth handover of approved or specified projects to distributors, and closely monitor on-time delivery of the products within distributors and customers as well as the completion of signed contracts.
  • Attend industry meetings, trade shows and conventions to increase the awareness and visibility of Kohler products.
  • Coach sales associates by sharing knowledge and market intelligence to the sales team

Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • University graduated in marketing or master business administration preferred.
  • At least 10 years of sales experience in the construction material or consumer goods industry. Solid successful track record is a must.
  • Strong networking with developers, architecture firms, and interior design firms
  • Experience in managing sales team
  • Exposure in Bath and kitchen industry is desirable
  • Strong leadership with strategic mindset
  • Good command of English communication skills
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, presentation skills.
  • Distributor management experience is essential
