RF Firmware Engineer

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
This position will own and perform RF firmware development tasks for HID product development. This position requires reporting on a regular basis development progress to project manager and related product team members This position is primarily product development oriented. This position will have RF protocol development with software and firmware. This position is based in Corsair’s R&D Center in Taipei, Taiwan.
Essential Skills and Experience:

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Familiar with Jira and Gitlab systems.

Direct experience with designing for preferably several of the following technologies:
- Excellent programming skills in C language
- Firmware design for RF 2.4G proprietary protocol.
- Familiar with HID Bluetooth device development.
- Power consumption tunning for wireless devices.
- Familiar with anti-interference of 2.4G proprietary protocol.
- Familiar with wireless security.

A plus if has direct experience with
- Gaming controllers for Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, mobile devices
- Gaming Keyboard/Mouse development.
- LCD displays and image processing
- Creating and maintaining communication protocols
- Test equipment such as oscilloscopes, USB analyzers, Wi Fi analyzers
- Knowledge of digital hardware circuit
- Windows software development.
- Skilled in engineering analysis, development, documentation and communication
- Ability to analyze options for critical design elements and features and determine optimum selection. Detail-oriented with attention to feature implementation quality.
- Understand & Maintain existing firmware and perform changes.
- Documenting the Project related information like Flow Diagrams, Requirement Specifications, Test Schedule
- Knowledge and application of project management practices, processes and tools including MS Outlook, Project, Excel, and Power Point.
