Senior Server Memory Engineer
This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description:
Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.
Responsibilities:
- Leads multiple project teams of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of electrical hardware design and development for complex products, solutions, and platform memory subsystems, including design, validation, and testing.
- Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
- Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality.
- Provides domain-specific expertise and overall electrical/electronic hardware and platform leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
- Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the memory subsystem design organization.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Typically 6-10 years experience.
- Using electrical design tools and software packages.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience in overall server architecture of memory subsystem products and solutions.
- Designing and integrating memory components, integrated circuitry, and validation algorithms into overall server architecture.
- Evaluating and proposing forms of empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate component, circuit, and hardware designs and thermal/emissions management.
- Good high-level understanding of the DRAM fabrication and DIMM manufacturing processes.
- Familiar with the JEDEC memory standards, participation experience in JEDEC is a plus. Ability to establish, drive, and influence technical standards (internal cross functions and external industry).
- Good technical understanding of memory subsystem interaction with BIOS/UEFI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
