Senior Technician, Cash Processing/Funds Transfer

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Technician to join our Payments Operations team. This role is located in Taipei, Taiwan – HYBRID.
The Junior FX Back Office Staff will assist in the daily operations of the Foreign Exchange back office, ensuring that all FX transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. This role involves settlement, reconciliation, and record-keeping of FX trades, as well as supporting the front office and compliance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Technician to join our Payments Operations team. This role is located in Taipei, Taiwan – HYBRID.

This role involves settlement, reconciliation, and record-keeping of FX trades, as well as supporting the front office and compliance teams. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Trade Settlement: Assist in the TWD settlement of FX trades, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and on time.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile FX transactions, including matching trades with confirmations, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that all trades are accurately reflected in the system.
- Trade Confirmation: Verify and confirm trade details with counterparties, ensuring that all terms are agreed upon and documented correctly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all FX transactions, including contracts, confirmations, and correspondence. Ensure that all documentation is filed and archived according to company policies.
- Support for Front Office: Provide support to the FX trading desk, including updating trade records, monitoring positions, and assisting with trade-related queries.
- Compliance and Reporting: Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to FX trading. Prepare and submit reports as required by management or regulatory bodies.
- Communication: Liaise with internal departments such as finance, risk management, and compliance, as well as external counterparties, to resolve any issues related to FX transactions.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in the FX trade process, escalating to senior staff when necessary.
- System Management: Assist in the maintenance and updating of FX trading systems and software, ensuring that all data is current and accurate.
- Learning and Development: Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in FX markets and participate in relevant training and development programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in financial operations or back-office roles are preferred, particularly in FX or treasury operations. Recent graduates with relevant internships or coursework are also encouraged to apply
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with FX trading platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of FX markets and financial instruments is advantageous. Proficiency in English, capable of handling routine communication, both written and verbal.
