Description and Requirements
Job Description:
- Thermal products/projects(Fan, heatsink and water cooling) and suppliers' quality & engineering management.
- Monitor thermal supplier's quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Engineering change management for thermal product, include ECed product qualification, process qualification.
- Part qualification with FAI and thermal process qualification with PPAP
- Regular supplier quality performance review with supplier function teams, provide professional supplier continuous improvement plan and push the action implementation.
- Work together with Lenovo WW team and supplier on trouble shooting for mechanical quality issue.
- Regular audit and qualification of supplier to make sure their quality management system runs well to guarantee their quality level.
- Work together with Commercial team on alternative/second source selection and qualification.
- Early involved into NPI stage to be proactively review supplier’s manufacturing process and quality control process through DFX and Fool-proof methodologies to ensure high level product quality in whole life cycle.
- Proactively work with Development team on design review, provide the design change solutions to Development to mitigate the quality risk
- Support supply chain cost saving projects
- Coordinate with global cross function teams for special project to support business.
- Bachelor or above, more than 8 years working experience in thermal engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong technical and process skills in thermal commodity, experienced in fan, heatsink or water cooling brazing process is preferred.
- Be capable of supplier management, project management.
- Good knowledge of quality system, ISO9000 etc.
- Be fluent with oral English, good team worker, excellent at communication.
- Has working experience in computer/server chassis manufactory is preferred.
