1. About Nasu Lab
Founded in September 2024, the Nasu Lab is dedicated to developing cutting-edge fluorescent biosensors that probe the core of cell biology: understanding cellular energy dynamics. By harnessing the potential of protein engineering and directed evolution, we work on illuminating the mysteries of how cells utilize energy.

2. Position: Research Assistant
Research Focus:

• Biosensor Development: Enhance biosensor functionalities through innovative protein engineering.
• Characterization: Rigorous testing and optimization of biosensors in controlled environments.
• Application: Employing these biosensors in live mammalian cells using fluorescence microscopy, and in vivo imaging across diverse models (fly, plant, and mouse), often in collaboration with international partners.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Manage lab schedules, travel arrangements, funding, and reimbursement processes.
• Assist with the administration of the lab to ensure efficient operation.
• Help facilitate business communications, including translating between English and Chinese when necessary.

• Fluent in both English and Chinese, with strong communication skills.
