About our group:

The Test Engineering (TE) department is responsible for electrical testing of the Head Gimbal Assembly (HGA) to support new transducer design development through mass production build. We work closely with the Design Center and factory to deliver high data quality and maximum manufacturing test throughout.

About the role - you will:

• Work with Electrical Integration (EI) engineer in USA to set up the experiment, provide test script and electrical tester setup preparation for new transducer design-build validation
• Manage the Electrical Test parameter and HGA disposition via TSR (Test Setup Request) change for mass production support
• Validate all electrical test-related change (Hardware/Software/Firmware and media) and setup migration plan to ensure if they meet product change requirements
• Maximize Electrical Tester capacity
• Deploy an effective tester control system to ensure tester health and data quality
• Identify X-products test gaps and working with a team (Product, Test, Electrical Integration, Mechanical Integration, Characterization and Analytics Group) for solution

About you:

• Good Electronic, Electrical and Physics knowledge
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Fluent in English communication both spoken and written
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent in teamwork, leadership and coach-ability
• Bachelors and/or equivalent experience

Your experience includes:

• Hard Disk Drive technology and manufacturing knowledge
• Expert in data analysis, problem-solving skills and decision making
• Planning, Statistic (Six Sigma), Process Control and improvement
• Computer programming (C#, C++, Python)
