Detailed Description

Lead and Coordinate with Celestica cross-functional teams to achieve schedule of development stage for new model launching(NPI Packaging and Material Handling).
Design the strategy of inbound, in process, outbound packaging and material handling to support the JIT operation.
Manage End to End Packaging to ensure that they are completed efficiently and effectively to the operation.
Preparation Packaging Design, approval proposal, selection and follow up packaging prototype from supplier.
Leading Supplier Packaging cost optimization. Validation of the packaging’s tooling, review and validation of the standard packaging or material handling cost.
Design, Development of the Material incoming process, storage, warehouse management and material supply standard to production(JIT, Kanban, 2-Bin System).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their material handling needs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate with equipment vendors and suppliers to select material handling equipment.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Strong in Industrial Engineering. Ability to design, calculation of the material requirements(UPH, Capacity) into space, inventory for manufacturing.
• Strong in engineering principles and concepts related to manufacturing, BOM, material packaging, material handling systems and processes, DFMEA, FMEA, Control Plan.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, MRP(SAP, QAD), ETQ, Spectrum Pro..etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management skills, lean manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards related to material handling systems.
• Good command both Thai and English

Typical Experience

• Minimum 8 - 10 years(+) experience in manufacturing process.

Typical Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
